I am pleased to announce that Theology of Mana Phase One (the first of my Secret of Mana remix project) is out NOW! You can stream it on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music, and you can also get it on my iTunes and my Bandcamp! This is the first of three phases, since I'm remixing the entire soundtrack for Secret of Mana! Please follow along on the journey, as I'll be the first in the world to do this 😘
My last album, "Rom.Hacks Volume 1," which was released on April 1st, 2022 is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube!
This album is the first of its kind as a multi-genre, club-ready DJ mix of self-produced remixes from various Video Games ranging from Zelda: A Link to the Past and Startropics 2 to Secret of Mana and Metroid Prime. Come along on this nostalgic journey and see where it takes you!
You can find all the extended mixes to be used in DJ sets on my store, including 4 bonus tracks that the spotify version doesn't include. Enjoy!
My other album, “Trapped in a World Between Beauty and Bass,” released on March 5th, 2021, is also available on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube (You can also find all the extended mixes in my store!)!
The album is an anthology of the past 6 years of some of my most experimental productions. The album starts out with a very ethereal intro, goes into a deep house section, and then is followed by a jazzy, future house tune with the powerful vocals of Charly Tate. The next track is a banging Bass Trance track that is in honor of the late Mary Sue (RIP), a vocalist that I used to work with.
The latter half of the album is focused on a genre I am pioneering called Future Trance. It is a combination of the freedom in structure of Future Beats, but with the sound design and powerful percussion of Trance. The track “Why Not Both” is the best example of this style, but it usually will fall around 90-100BPM, making it an incredibly unique sound that no one else (that I know of) is making. In addition, there are 3 notable video game remixes on the album from Donkey Kong Country 2, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and Chrono Trigger.
The album is my most experimental work and I am incredibly proud of it. I would love if you gave it a listen or bought it in my store today!
OTHER NOTABLE RELEASES:
Avenoir (2020) [Get Served Records] – My album with Table 18 (and several other underdogs in the Trance scene) as Wæde Wätts that went number one on the Beatport Trance Charts in May of 2020, and number 8 on the website overall. This was completely unexpected and blew us all away.
Rainbow Court (2019) [Big Toys] – Named after the neighborhood in Guangzhou, China where Wæde Wätts (my project with Table 18) was born, Rainbow Court was supported by Cosmic Gate on Episode 261 of the Wake Your Mind Podcast and by Fatum on Episode 133 of the Fatum Podcast, both grammy nominated artists.
Wily (2018) [The EDM Collective] – Inspired by Dr. Wily’s Stage on Mega Man 2, this track was supported by Grammy Nominated Fatum on the Fatum Podcast Episode 118.
Honored (2018) [Elliptical Sun Recordings] – Made with Justin Zanish of Euphoric Nation, this track was supported by Tom Fall on iRok Radio and by Grammy Nominated Cosmic Gate on Episode 200 of the Wake Your Mind Podcast.
Soul Dreamer (2018) [Freegrant] – A collab made with the almighty Profetik, Soul Dreamer was the first track that got me noticed by anyone in the scene, as it was played by Above & Beyond on Group Therapy Episode 245. I still remember producing the bassline for this when I was on the 21 Bus Route in Minneapolis/St. Paul, and I remember absolutely freaking out in front of the Willis Tower in Chicago when Profetik (who worked most of the production magic) sent me the text that it got played. Ahhh memories hehe.
Follow me (or Wæde Wätts, my project with Table 18) on Spotify or Soundcloud if you want more 😉
